Earth Phase 地相圖 04.22

Today, human beings consume about 1.75 earth’s resources. By 2030, we will need 2 planets. However, there won’t be a second earth coming from nowhere providing a perfect living conditions for our future existence, the only thing we can do is to face the environmental problems caused by human beings. Earth Phase 地相圖 04.22 is a generative art piece inspired by the topic of 2021 Earth Day, "Restore Our Earth." In this artwork, I meditate and pray for earth, and later use the live brainwave data of meditation to generate a dynamic earth that is self-restored from illness.

今日人類消耗資源的量相當於1.75個地球。到2030年以前，我們會需要2個地球才能支撐所有人的生存。然而第二個全新的地球並不會憑空出現在外太空，提供給我們另一個完美的生存環境，我們唯一能做的只有真正面對人類對地球環境造成的問題。 Earth Phase 地相圖04.22 即是受2021年世界地球日主題「恢復我們的地球」所啟發，在這件作品中，我為地球祈禱、冥想，並使用即時的腦波資料來生成一個個可以從疾病中自我恢復的動態地球。
